Newspaper Endorsements Nearly Complete

With the election now 10 days away, most of Florida’s newspapers have printed their recommendations / endorsements on most races. A few have yet to endorse in the gubernatorial race.

We here at the State of Sunshine have compiled a list for all races in the Bay area for which there have been endorsements, including links to the endorsements. Robert C at Interstate 4 Jamming also has a list of major races.

A few of the notable findings thus far:

  • Bill Nelson has swept the US Senate endorsements.
  • Eric Copeland only received one endorsement, from the Daytona Beach News Journal — even the liberal Palm Beach Post and St. Petersburg Times endorsed Republican Charlie Bronson for Agriculture Commissioner.
  • There was a significant split on the Constitutional Amendments.

Newspaper recommendations can be another source of information about candidates, so we at State of Sunshine wanted to provide them to you.

Remember, 10 more days. Please vote on or before November 7th.
