GOP Debate in Tampa? Possibly on Flag Day

According to reports on March on Politics (Tampa Tribune) and Naked Politcs (Miami Herald), as well as Interstate 4 Jamming, the University of South Florida may once again be the host of a presidential debate.

The plan is to have the Salem Radio Network broadcast the debate from Tampa to its stations around the country, then have a staw poll on TownHall.com. Salem Radio are known for conservative and Christian talk radio stations.

William March reports that Mitt Romney has agreed to participate, which should bring in the remaining candidates — especially if Florida’s primary will probably be among the first five, on January 29, 2008.

Florida will host another debate on October 21st at the Republican convention.
