I posted earlier this month a list of some of Florida’s conservative bloggers. One of them, Doyle of A Cool Change noted that I missed some. So I started with his blogroll and identified a few more.
NOTE: There may be more out there, but I am really looking for people who post regularly. Some I have seen are once or twice a month, others haven’t posted in a long time. These (and the others on the previous post) are still active.
Bear in mind that few of these focus solely on politics, and none of them write predominantly about Florida or their local community.
Without further ado, here’s the continued list:
GOP News - A relatively new blog, but I think it has some staying power.
Right in Florida - written by a self-describe “aging boomer”
The Black Republican - which, ironically is not written by Republicans of African descent.
Charming, Just Charming - retired from the USAF
Hog on Ice - an interesting read.
IMAO - In My Arrogant Opinion?
Inoperable Terran - lots of quick hit posts.
Inside Larry’s Head - A blog I had linked previously, but when it moved I dropped it. Sorry.
Lines in the Sand - A libertarian blog, but my earlier post had a conservative Democrat blogger, so why not.
My Little Corner of the World - A proud Republican, for sure.
Yankee in Gator Country - It’s hard to link to a proud Gator (I’m a big, BIG USF fan), but he is a good, conservative blogger (and yet another Fred Head).
Sharp as a Marble - A former Marine in Tampa
Something… and Half of Something - She’s “just another ignorant Jewish girl from Brooklyn, making my way in the world.” And one of the strongest anti-terrorist bloggers I have seen.
Workbench - from Jacksonville, written by a former reporter.
And I just found Ocean Guy - a disgruntled conservative Democrat.
So, it would appear that there are more conservative bloggers than I had previously thought.
If anyone knows of other Florida-based conservative bloggers who write often and recently about politics… man that’s quite the description… please let me know.

Hi, my name is Pam and I’ve made you and your site part of my BlogDay 2007!
Thanks!
I do thank ya much although the far right wing calls me a godless commie..but then the far left figures I am a capitalist pig and both are partly right..I am somewhat godless and I damn shore am a die hard capitalist..
But mostly I am a neo libertarian who figures that the government has no more business in my bedroom than they do in my wallet..
Thank you for noting Something… and Half of Something in your post, and for the kind words about my content.

Thank you so much for adding my blog to your list.
I am located in Sarasota, wife of Retired Navy Veteran, and yes my blog is about supporting our troops and politics.
Thank you again and nice to meet you.
Something…and Half of Something and Theodore’s World are two of my favorite blogs!
Jim, you’re such a smart guy. How can you fall for all that anti-terror rhetoric?
I lost your email and I am wondering — if someone(s) want to recall someone(s) such as the Library Board — (LOL!) would you point me in the direction of where you found how to recall the commissioners?? Seriously??
Thanks !!!

I’m in Florida, though I only rarely write about local issues. As far as anti-terror rhetoric goes, do you honestly think that Muslims are kidding? Hello, the Koran itself teaches them to murder Christians and Jews. It’s. Right. There. And it’s been interpreted that way for centuries. Why do you think the Crusades even happened? Uhm, that would be because Islam had invaded country after country, burning citieis, murdering noncombatants, raping women, and enslaving everyone in sight. Geesh. Read history much?
