Greetings from theMcCain Campaign!
July is off to a roaring start here in Florida and I am very excited to tell you about all of the wonderful things happening this month! On July 7th we announced our statewide Hispanics for McCain Leadership and this past Thursday, the 10th we announced our statewide steering committee of Hispanics for McCain. Leading the coalition are Senator Mel Martinez, Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Congressman Mario-Diaz Balart, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Speaker Marco Rubio.
Recently, the Florida campaign held a press call with Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum and Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee where they discussed Senator McCain's record on law enforcement.
Last week, we announced our statewide Small Business Coalition in Tampa. Small business owners throughout Florida endorsed John McCain's economic plan, joining business leaders across the country who have praised John McCain's Jobs for America economic plan to grow the economy as president. This announcement reinforced Senator McCain's commitment to strengthening our economy. Christine Vasconcelo, owner of Tampa's Bloomingdays Flowers Shop added, "John McCain is the change small business owners like me want in government. He recognizes small businesses drive our economy and he will make sure we have a pro-growth, low-tax economic environment for years to come." This past Friday we had media availability with a group of Women Business Leaders for McCain.
This month we have opened three victory offices in Palm Beach County, one in Orlando, one in Pompano Beach and one in Naples. All of these offices were welcomed with a number of energetic, enthusiastic, and committed supporters. Lots of volunteers signed up and are ready to take the state by storm in support of McCain.
I would like to leave you with this very inspiring Ad released last week by Senator McCain. I encourage you to show this to anyone who has a doubt in Senator McCain or his ability to lead our nation. I hope you will find this Ad as inspiring as I did:
