Marco Rubio will run for Senate

Beth Reinhard of the Miami Herald is reporting that former Republican House speaker Marco Rubio will run for the United States Senate seat:

Okay, so it’s not unexpected that former House Speaker Marco Rubio is actively running for the U.S. Senate. Except that he never made a formal announcement.

But apparently he told Alan Mendelsohn, a Hollwood eye doctor and major political fundraiser. Mendelsohn is hosting the “Marco Rubio U.S. Senate Kick-Off” at his home on Thursday.

For those in the Tampa Bay area, the Tampa Bay Young Republicans are hosting an evening with Marco Rubio:

Come out and network with Speaker Rubio the night of March 6th at the Alfano Center.

One Response to Marco Rubio will run for Senate

  1. Robert Farkas says:

    To Marco Rubio
If you don’t think in a different direction about the Azi bill that was passed about immigration we will not vote for you. Get your thinking in the right direction and get with the what the people want. If your going to represent the people start doing it now or you will not make it.
